4 1-hour Workshops on Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy

This is 4 1-hour workshops on Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy being presented at the Gersten Behavioral Center on Fridays at noon starting November 15th (Note: The 22nd will start at 12:20 pm, and we're skipping the 29th). They have given me permission to open it to the public. The cost is $15 per lecture or $50 for all four. CEUs are available through the Gersten Behavioral Center.

The talks will take place in the lower level of the Touhy office at 5550 Touhy Ave., Skokie, IL 60077 from 12-1pm in the large conference room.

Gersten Center is a licensed CE sponsor and will be offering one hour of CE credit for each talk attended. Gersten Center will provide a CE certificate to all attendees as proof of completion of the educational experience.

Are you looking to learn a bit more about couples therapy, some new tools, and have a fun time doing it? The Hold Me Tight® Chicago Workshop Series is perfect for you. I offer this workshop series a few times a year. In a warm and comfortable environment, couples are given a combination of psycho-education on the latest research in couples therapy, videos of couples working through their relationship, and exercises for the couples to implement what is being learned. The series is based on the curriculum put together by Dr. Sue Johnson. For more info and the dates, go to the Hold Me Tight Chicago page. I also offer the Hold Me Tight content for couples privately who would like to work through the material at their own pace. Feel free to contact me about that as well.

Are you a therapist and want to start learning how to work with the interpersonal dynamics of couples and family therapy? Check out my upcoming workshop, Overview and Application of EFT at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology on September 14th, 1:00 pm to 4:15 pm. CEUs are available for psychologists and other mental health professionals.

Are you feeling a bit lost with your couples clients? Interested in private supervision in working with your couples? There is a lot to learn in couples work that is not taught in graduate school. It's very different from individual work. I benefited tremendously from the years of supervision and training I had in working with couples. It is a pleasure for me to share and help other therapists train and grow in their skills as they learn to work with couples. I provide a warm educational environment for supervision. And I am open to therapists coming in dyads to work on their couples cases as well, if you'd like to bring a fellow therapist for supervision together.
